Welcome to my homepage! I'm Merja
Koskela and living at Tampere. My life with American
cockers started in year 1991 when I was ten years old.
At that time my huge dream came true and I got a dog
of my own. He was a red American cocker boy
Flightmaster Quiet Gentleman Peku. Peku
was never meant to be a showdog but I got interested
in showing very fast. At that time started my
friendship with Marja Valkeeniemi, kennel Marvellous,
and since that we've been co-operating all the time
during these years with dogs. My warmest thanks to
Marja for all you have tought to me and of course for
the friendship!
During the summers 1997, -98 and
99 I travelled to Sweden to learn more about
American cockers in famous Caci's kennel, owned by
Carina and Mikael Östman. Thank you Carina and Micke
for taking me part of your family it was
wonderful to live with you, those summers gave me so
much!
Today there are three american cockers living with me. My Grand Old Lady Int, Fin, Swe, Est ch, EstW-02, EuVW-06, BISS, Multiple Groupwinner Marvellous Miss Am’Erica “Tiffany” , the little “mascot” Fin Ch, FinJW-01 Marvellous She’s Got The Look “Katie” and my newcomer, everyday’s pride & joy Pointbreak Good Girl Gone Bad “Lahja”. GroupWinner Marvellous Starring America Ella
when She was only 4 years old. Ella will always has a
special place in my heart and thinking of her is
getting tears in my eyes again and again.
In summer 2003 I was visiting with
Carina and Mikael in Sweden when my aunt sent me a
message that she and her husband would like to have a
golden. Of course I couldn't keep my fingers out of
this wonderful thing
In August we travelled to
Sweden for taking a little golden puppy to Finland.
Eemil Festival's San Domingo conquered our hearts at first sight and he has been much more we ever dreamed about. In the spring 2008 Eemil got a “little brother” when Festival’s Finger In The Pie “Antton” moved to Finland. Thank You Tina for letting us have these boys!
